Who is Don?

I was born somewhere, and then grew up. Along the way I went to college where I learned about important things.

 

Then I lived in different cities and worked for different famous and important people. Then I ended up where I am now (Nashville Tennessee). And this is where I do stuff.  I have had a camera since I was 16.  I stole my Dads Pentax camera and started shooting.  Shot my first professional gig when I was 20 for a major Christian band out of Jacksonville Florida. Photography has been a passion ever since.

 

I currently am a Commercial Sales Manager and a LED Technical specialist for a fortune 200 company for my daytime job (hard to give up the paychecks, company car and benefits) and the co-owner of Southern Sports Photography LLC, one of the fastest growing sports photography companies around..

 

I was an action photographer since 2005 but am now exclusively doing T&I for the past 2 years.  In my spare time I like to work, and my hobbies are work, family, and watching Michigan Football.

 

I believe that marketing and sales drive a business and we never do it enough.
