Q. How much does an 8"x10" unit cost?
A. An 8"x10" Studio Managed (you color correct and crop your image)
costs $1.99. However, if you are submitting a Studio Managed image via School
Days, your unit cost is then $1.20. School Days pricing is a lower cost because
school jobs normally consist of standard 8"x10" units in high-volume.
If you want your images Lab Managed, the costs per unit is higher. Please

Q. How do I submit an order?
A. Submitting an order is easy. We have 2 free software applications available
to suit your needs. If you are a portrait, wedding or commercial photographer
try Digital Access Online. If you are a high volume Sports & Youth photographer,
DSPN Sports & Groups may be a better fit but Digital Access Online can also
be used. Using one of these submission programs will ensure you the lowest cost
and fastest turnaround.
Q. How do I become a customer?
A. Visit the "Becoming a Customer" section of this site and a representative
will contact you shortly. Or just give us a call at 1-888-398-9934.
Q. What is your turnaround time?
A. Our turnaround is 24 hours for standard portrait work. However, anything
that requires product assembly, mounting etc., has a 5 day turnaround. High
volume school and sports jobs have a 6-9 day turnaround.
Q. What are your office hours?
A. We are open 24 hours, 7 days per week during the peak season spring and fall.
We are available on the phone Monday-Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
EST. with the exception of holidays.
Q. Where are you located?
A. We are in sunny Jacksonville, Florida, home of the 2005 Superbowl game.
Q. How long have you been in business?
A. We have been a fully digital lab for 8 years and our sister company,
Desktop Darkroom, has been in business 16 years.
Q. How do I pay for my prints?
A. We accept cash, check and all major credit cards. Additionally, if you apply
for an account term and are approved, we can invoice your account every 30 days.
Q. Why do I call Desktop Darkroom to speak with my Desktop Digital Lab representative?
A. Desktop Darkroom and Desktop Digital Lab are "sister companies".
Our sales and marketing representatives actually work with Desktop Darkroom,
and we are in communication with them at all times. Your sales representatives
will also be able to find you the best deals on software and equipment so don't
hesitate to ask.
